A workshop was held on 21-22 March 2022 with 79 participants from the food industry and umbrella organizations to introduce TÜGİP and the Food Innovation Center.

Eastern Marmara Development Agency, Çanakkale Ezine Food Specialization Organized Industrial Zone, Kandıra Food Specialization Organized Industrial Zone, Balıkesir Technopolis, Başkent University BITTO, Yaşar University Information and Technology Transfer Office, Marmara Technocity representatives and Istanbul, İzmir, Ankara, Kocaeli, Antalya, Manisa, Bilecik Representatives of 32 companies from the provinces of , Sakarya, Balıkesir, Van, Gaziantep, Çorum, Muğla, Erzurum, Karaman, Adana and Konya were hosted at the TÜBİTAK MARMARA RESEARCH CENTER Gebze Campus.

The two-day event started on March 21 with meeting and networking activities. On March 22, TÜBİTAK MAM President Advisor, INNOFOOD Project Coordinator, Assoc. Dr. Cesarettin Alasalvar gave information about TÜBİTAK MAM Life Sciences and Food Research competencies, the projects carried out, the licensed and licensing studies, and the IPA-INNOFOOD Project.

We would like to express our sincere thanks to the representatives of the relevant companies and umbrella organizations for their participation in the workshop, where important R&D-oriented cooperation potentials were evaluated, and to the representatives of the relevant companies and umbrella organizations, who filled in the membership intent statements in order to establish an organic bond with TÜGİP.
